This novel approach uses a vacuum to deliver resin beads to multiple vials in a single use. The dispense volume is preset by the machined cavities in the interchangeable plate. The design of the Resin Mouse is one that makes it unaffected by the size and or type of resin bead being used. Use of the mouse is a single handed operation with dispense accuracies of less than a few percent.

This rack mounts directly onto a Tecan genesis prepping machine and locates and holds commercial as well as custom designed microtiter plates. It can be easily changed to hold the plates in either landscape or portrait format. The optional hold down cover is used when piecing of septa seals is necessary and is retained at both ends of the rack. Actuation of the clamp is via a single knob located on the front of the rack.

This custom designed injection molded plate is used to transport and store vials in a combinatorial chemistry laboratory. The plate is designed around the standard SBS microtiter plate format. It is also designed to accommodate small changes in the diameter of the vials as well as changes due to temperature. The plate has been developed as a replacement for an existing commercial plate that was becoming outdated due to the clients needs to automate his processes.
